Our salon is currently looking to hire assistants to help with day to day tasks around the salon. The ideal candidate is someone who is responsible, hardworking, and enjoys working in customer service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers by following all CDC guidelines for business operations (including keeping proper hygiene etiquette and regular hand washing throughout)

  • Answer email/phone call when available （英語：日常会話）

  • Regularly clean and disinfect all commonly used areas: all chairs/shampoo/cutting areas before and after every guest.

  • Work as part of a small but efficient team to ensure good customer experience.

Job Qualifications

  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time

  • Very professional in appearance and demeanor

  • Must be a self-starter: observant in the needs of the stylists and the customers throughout work

Job Details

  • Easily accessible via C line (MBTA green line, Copley station). Access to many high end shops, restaurants, coffee shops, etc

  • No experience necessary, training will be provided by on-site staff for those with a good work ethic and the desire to learn a new skill.

Japanese Hair Salon DEFI is currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated hair stylist to join our hair stylist team!

Japanese Hair Salon DEFI is a salon, currently located on the bustling street of Newbury in Boston, Massachusetts. The salon has been in business for over 10 years and is looking to expand. We specialize in Asian hair types and offer services such as haircut, perm/digital perm, Japanese straightening, and single to triple process coloring. The ideal candidate is someone who has an interest in Japanese hair styles/hair techniques and has experience as a working professional in the salon industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of services including hair cutting, highlighting, layering, coloring, shampoo/blowdry, perms, straightening, etc

  • Perform hairstyle consultations for new or existing clients

  • Maintain a consistent relationship with client base in order to ensure return clients

  • Proactively develop new client base and offers professional and courteous service

  • Answer emails/phone calls when available

  • Ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers by following all CDC guidelines for business operations (including keeping proper hygiene etiquette and regular hand washing throughout)

Job Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of hair styles, hair care products and related procedures

  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time

  • Professional in appearance and demeanor

  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English (Japanese language ability preferred but not required)

  • The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to keep up with new hair style trends, has a friendly demeanor, and possess excellent customer service skills.

  • Must have a valid Massachusetts Cosmetology License

業務拡大の為、ヘアスタイリストを募集しています。短期間で稼ぎたい方、将来独立などで資金が必要な方、DEFIで働いてみませんか？

週に２−3日でも可能です。

スタイリスト
・メインはヘアカットですが当店ではbalayage、ombreなどのデザインカラーや縮毛矯正やデジタルパーマも人気です
・日本で５年以上の経験、美容免許がある方
・真面目な方、向上心のある方、協調性のある方
・客単価が高いので丁寧な接客、技術力が必要

客層：ボストンが大学の町なので学生が多く、比較的若い客層になります。（２０代が一番多いです）アジア人７割（うち日本人３割）その他アメリカ人３割くらいです。

ボストンの特徴：とても安全な町で,夜一人で歩いても基本安全です。レンガ作りのアパートが多く、ヨーロッパの様な町並みです。（姉妹都市　京都） ボストン市内には地下鉄があるので便利す。レストランも国際色豊かなので様々な料理を楽ししむことが出来ると思います。
